TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS IN THE PALM Sunday Romans


     In cele mai multe zone, oamenii primesc chiar de la biserica o crenguta de salcam sfintita. Salcia este un copac binecuvantat, conform traditiei, chiar de Maica Domnului. La sate, unii locuitori isi leaga ramurile de salcie peste mijloc, intelegandu-se astfel ca sunt protejati de boli. Tot in unele zone rurale, fetele pun si in noaptea de Florii busuioc sub perna, de data asta pentru a fi mai frumoase si a avea succes in dragoste.
